SABBATHICA.
Born at the end of 2000 and under the influence of the heavy rock of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, Dio, Pappo´s Blues, among others; Sabbathica carried their music for a decade in different scenes of the rocker circuit of Buenos Aires, South and North of great Buenos Aires and Rosario (province of Santa Fé). Also participated in several festivals and motorcycle meetings.
Gustavo Grandolio (guitar), Diego Tomás (vocals), Omar Maldonado (drums) and Christian Tomás (bass) are musicians that currently give life to this group.
After the experience of recording a first demo (with four issues), Sabbathica took advantage of 2010 to register their first official album. "Sabbathica" .The album features nine songs, including "The Wizard", original Black Sabbath featuring Luis Robinson (Pappo´s Blues) on harmonica.The drums of the disc were recorded in the Studio "Del Abasto al Pasto" with Alejandro Mancuso (technical recording) and Bolsa González (drum doctor). Recording guitars, bass and voices were carried out in "Studio Rec" with Rizo Sagardoyburu, Nicolás Persig and Sebastian Busto (recording technicians), except the theme "Cuando ya no esté" recorded entirely in "Lo de Escudero", with Rafael Escudero as recording technician. The album was mixed by Diego Tomás and Gustavo Grandolio in "Studio Rec" technician Nicholas Persig. Mastered by Carlos Laurenz in Santa Cecilia Sound.
In addition to Luis Robinson,the album had the presence of Raul Tomás (Los Hanca-Hua, Duo Socavón) in bombo legüero; Eduardo Palomo (Jam trio) on keyboards, Wenceslao Escudero (Soledad Pastorutti) quenas and sikus; and Gustavo Jawamske (Carnarium) on keyboards; as guests.
The album was edited and distributed by MTM records.
Currently the band began with the composition of their 2nd album to be release date to November 2012.
